Are You New Here?

Amelia Dimoldenberg, the genius behind Chicken Shop Date, gave a speech at her alma mater's graduation ceremony and in it she said "If there is creativity in you it will find a way to be seen" (not verbatim).

During your life, or perhaps I should say during my life, there are these moments where I hear something and for some reason it's highlighted in my brain. Even if I don't know why right away, and her speech was one of those moments. So this blog is a way to allow that creativity a way to be seen so it no longer punishes me for keeping it locked up.

I have many thoughts, on many things, perhaps on everything and writing has always been an outlet for me for as long as I can remember. If you found me through my main instagram you're aware I've gone on several tangents expressing some of these thoughts, The Yaposphere is just a formalized extension of those rants and then some!

However, I am not oblivious to the state of the world; no one reads anymore, and no one really blogs anymore either. So to accompany this blog will be a podcast because along with my love for writing, is the intense desire to share my ideologies and opinions with as many people as possible. One unexpected thrill from posting my views on my instagram story was the responses I'd receive and the conversations that came from it. Because of that, I will attempt to adapt to 2026 media sharing as best as I can. The podcast will be for having conversations that we should have more of, while the blog will for everything. There won't always be a pod episode matching a blog post but there will always be a blog post for a pod.

That being said, I will not contribute to the death of the human mind (hint, hint), so I strongly urge you all to read AND listen.

I look forward to building this archive of knowledge! Subscribe on your left and come along!
